I have been a practising
artist since 1988 and have over ten years experience in working in the
community arts and public art realms. The projects I have worked on range
from the small scaled to large, and from solo projects to collaborations
involving many partners. My work in these two realms feeds from and inspires
my studio-based work.
I've chosen these examples as illustrations of my work to highlight the
diversity of materials and subject matter I am able to tackle when commissioned
to produce a public artwork. With each new work I undertake, I seek to
add to my knowledge of techniques and materials as well as drawing on
previous experience, the chosen medium often being suggested by the siting
of the work.
